With the sunny and long days approaching, I particularly like to let my hair loose (hair description: kind of wavy, supple, frizzy sometimes).
One thing that I particularly focus on at the moment is using hair beauty oils. I loved the Antonin B Ceramide enriched Desert Serum (see here) but I was curious to explore a bit more what other brands had to offer.
Therefore, I have included the Alma hair remedy* from Alchemy in my haircare routine. Here is what I think of this product below.
As you know, I believe in the beauty inside out. Combining healthy diet with highly performant care products is my motto when it comes to aim at having a healthy and radiant skin.
In regards to haircare, I have a simplistic approach (gentle shampoo+ occasionnal treats), but when my hair really needs it , I am ready to have a more complete routine.
In order to give my hair a little boost, and be summer-ready, I decided to give it a treatment 2 or 3 times a week. Every evening, I massage them thoroughly with the Amla hair oil, insisting a bit more on massaging the scalp.
Amla hair remedy is a 100% natural oil blend inspiring from the Ayurvedic practises containing top 5 potent nourishing oils:
. Amla fruit macerated in Sesame oil- stimulates hair growth, strengthens and conditions.
. Caprylic/capric triglycerides-moisturise and protect.
. organic Avocado oil- nourishes and bring some shine.
. organic Argan oil- regenerates and soothes.
. Citrus Lemon essential oil- cleanses and detoxifies.
The consistency of the Amla oil is lovely. Not too fluid, not too rich. It deeply conditions and envelops the hair from a delicately scented film that will do its magic overnight.
I shampoo the morning after (for some shampoo suggestions, you can browse here and here). No need to massage too much. And let me confess: my hair has never been that healthy since I use the oil. I try to be really consistent with the way I use it. And I guess it has paid. My hair is definitely stronger, with a lovely and shining color. Growth has been really stimulated. I can clearly see the very positive benefits of the Alma oil.
Just would like to point out that despite my love for the very cute bottle, I find it a bit messy to pour the right amount of oil without preventing any spells. But it is cute.
So if you have something to remember from this post: get the oil before the summer, and rest assured your hair will really really like it!
Retailing at £27.00 (for 100ml), you can get it directly on Alchemy website or at Lovelula (free international delivery). For those you love sample testing, a 30ml version is also available, making it super handy to test or to bring on holidays.
